Description:
Dr. Greg Carr, is the Chair of The Afro American Studies Dept. He was interviewed on April 13th, 2016 by Michael Imhotep on "The Roland Martin Show". Michael Imhotep is the founder of The African History Network as was guest hosting "The Roland Martin Show". We discussed “Jackie Robinson, The Color Barrier and The Destruction of The Negro Baseball Leagues”. We took an in depth, complex look at the impact that Jackie Robinson and others had on the Negro Baseball Leagues when they decided to play in the Major Leagues and how this led to the destruction of one of the biggest African American owned industries in the country.
